The Assistant HR Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of human resources operations for our client, a leading Oil amp; Energy company.
Responsibilities
- Assist the HR Manager in implementing and executing HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's overall strategy and objectives.
- Manage and coordinate the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Facilitate employee orientation and training programs to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their job responsibilities effectively.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, attendance, performance, and leave records.
- Support the development and implementation of performance management and employee development programs.
- Administer employee compensation and benefits programs in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues such as grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in HR or a related field.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects to completion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications.
