Characterization The job area Electrical Technician entails in general: Installing, testing, commissioning and maintaining systems, devices and installations in workshop and process bounded industries. These systems are of distribute energy, information, communication and security. Examples of these systems are: distribution boxes, control panels, cables, lighting, fire security of industrial fabrication processes. 1.Inspections, Checks & Troubleshooting Carrying out repair, inspections, diagnose, checks, testing and trouble shooting of all electrical system in the workshop and at site Setting up and monitoring/testing of complete electrical systems, and maintain power connections to machinery/equipment, cabling, faults, rectification, repairs, up-gradation, commissioning, etc. Discuss technical problems with project leader and client Reports solved errors / disruptions and explains modifications Discuss progress reports and critical issues

Discovering mistakes depends on self-control Complying and stimulating safety Correctly preparing the execution of daily work Register administrative data Execution according scope planning and agreed upon quality standards / procedures Making use of the right material Signals under absorption and communicates to management Collects data for small RFQs Correct used of company means and tools Advises management regarding the need of resources Execution Safely executing and coordinating specialist assembly and installation activities according the instructions of the project leader or client in compliance with work regulations including schedule drawings, flow-sheets, application software and other technical information. Executes assembly and/or installation activities individually or in a team Composes equipment and/or installations of electro technical installations Works often independently for a client Adds missing or wrong technical information Prepares the execution of daily activities, taking safety instructions into account. Ensures commissioning in a timely manner Guards the progress based on the project planning Reports more / or less work, reports this to stakeholders Advises the project leader where necessary Performs pre-emptive or corrective maintenance Solves errors Tests, measures and controls Drafts measurement and inspection reports Calibrates equipment / installations Updates changes in as-built drawings Other activities Maintains small material / parts stock. Informs the direct supervisor and/or client about improvements that can be made to the installation by Making small budgets and/or sketches. Cooperates in drafting TRAs (Task Risk Analysis) and inspects work environments. Executes administrative and registrative tasks Signals, registers and reports in a right way under absorption Signals commercial possibilities.
1. Administration & reporting Responsible for the administrative processing of each completed task (electrical repair scope, inspection, test and overhaul reports)

Responsible for the technical feedback from the task to the Workshop Supervisor/Foreman First point of contact for the workshop personnel related to all electrical maintenance works Project leader, location leader of client regarding the work, technical disruptions, deviations and progress in /of the work. To him assigned employees regarding instructions Subcontractors and suppliersSkills
Education

• Completion of a minimum of secondary vocational diploma in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of industrial electrical works, wiring diagrams, load calculations, and installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

Experience Minimum of 10 year relevant work experience in maintenance, repair, trouble shooting of electrical system in maintenance workshops, manufacturing plants, service industries Industry experience (technical services companies) will be beneficial
