Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, plan, and implement detailed deployment designs
- Maintain and operate cloud computing environments for different Datacenters
- Write and maintain technical implementation documentation on existing services and systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
- Ensure that new deployments are handed with appropriate documentation and training
- Implement Infrastructure projects as needed, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high quality
- Implement automated high-availability deployments
- Design and deploy systems management, provisioning, and improvement tools, in line with the Network, Systems, and Operational Systems strategies and the priorities of Network amp; Infrastructure
- Perform Server setup and maintenance on current Windows operating systems, Linux operating systems, client access software, and other client-server software applications that may be needed.
Perform application amp; OS Security monitoring, virus scans, and alerts and perform corrective action including patching
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering or a relative IT filed
- 6+ years’ experience on multiple hardware platforms and operating systems
- Experience of *NIX , Virtualization (VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V)
- Experience of Nutanix Hyper-converged
- Experience with; Apache, MySQL, Mail, BIND, FreeRADIUS, and LVM
- Experience with SQL amp; NoSQL databases
- Experience in SAN, NAS, and Storage solutions
- Experience in network management and network management tools (E.g. Cacti, Nagios, or equivalents)
- Knowledge of systems design and architecture principles
- Knowledge of Clustering technologies, load balancing
- Red Hat certification or equivalent Linux certificate is a must
- Scripting skills in, BASH, Python, Perl, Ansible is preferred
- Advanced skill level in system performance troubleshooting
