Job Description
PRM, a media production company, is seeking a Strategic Communications Expert to join our team. We are looking for someone who can develop and implement public relations strategies that align with our company goals and help establish our brand as a leader in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of different communication channels and excellent interpersonal skills.
As part of our team, the Strategic Communications Expert will work closely with executives and other departments to develop and execute effective communication strategies. The candidate will play a key role in managing the company's brand, reputation, and messaging efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic public relations plans that drive brand awareness and support sales efforts
- Collaborate with management and other departments to develop communication materials such as press releases, media pitches, and other content.
- Respond to media requests and coordinate interviews or media coverage for the company and its executives.
- Proactively identify opportunities to position PRM and its executives as thought leaders in the industry.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and media coverage to identify opportunities and potential threats.
- Manage PR efforts to support events, product launches, and other initiatives.
- Provide strategic counsel to executives and other departments on communication issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategic communications, public relations or related field
- A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related fields
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop comprehensive communication strategies and implement them effectively
- Experience building and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Knowledge of media relations and experience working with journalists
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing scenarios and work collaboratively in a team environment.
