Hello, we are AMBOSS, and we are looking for a Sales Manager, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to join our Rest of the World B2B team.

Since then, we have grown to operate in 180 countries currently and have gained immense traction in Germany and the US. Currently, we are pursuing this mission with more than 500+ employees in our offices in Berlin, Cologne, New York, and Cagliari.

Your tasks will be:
  • Coordinate sales and pricing strategies for respective deals with the Head of B2B
  • Prepare offers and negotiate pricing according to AMBOSS latest pricing strategy for each respective region
  • Develop an understanding of university interests and objectives and communicate ways that universities can innovate their teaching/curricula using AMBOSS
  • Secure all renewals in the region with a yearly price increase/upsell
  • Research, document, and share market intelligence; stay up-to-date on trends in academic and clinic medicine and EdTech for region(s) worked in
  • Manage and develop a sales pipeline to ensure the achievement of annual and quarterly revenue sales targets
  • Present the value proposition to fit a potential customer’s needs and overall strategic goals of a medical school/university and hospitals identify, proactively approach, and network with relevant stakeholders in the market such as deans, librarians, and learning specialists to strengthen relationships and to increase AMBOSS usage by institutions and students
  • Generate new business from the hospital and University clinic market
  • Internal Collaboration with AMBOSS colleagues on important deals and pipeline building
  • Manage and develop a sales pipeline to ensure the achievement of annual and quarterly revenue sales targets. Collaborate internally with other channels like roadshow/B2C market PMs, communications/marketing, and editorial teams to make sure our efforts stay aligned and are supported by these, contribute to quarterly market reviews with B2B related insights
  • Track all your activities in our CRM system on a daily basis


What you bring: :
  • At least 3-5+ years of direct sales experience in KSA, the wider MENA region is not a must but may be an advantage
  • Sales experience with Universities in strategic and complex-multi stakeholder deals
  • Ideally, sales experience to faculty, libraries, and hospitals.
  • Must be proactive in prospecting, calling, reaching out, and setting meetings, appointments, and visits on a weekly basis to build a pipeline
  • New business hunter skills, and also experience in account managing existing clients and renewals
  • Experience in meeting and selling to Dean, Vice Dean amp; C-level contacts within a University
  • Must be willing and able to travel across the Kingdom to visit clients and have overnight stays, occasionally outside the Kingdom
  • Sales experience selling to hospitals would be an advantage as this is a secondary market to the Universities
