JASARA PMC is seeking a Project Accountant to join the team in ensuring the smooth financial management of their social infrastructure programs across Saudi Arabia. As a joint venture between Public Investment Fund (PIF), Jacobs, and Saudi Aramco, the company is committed to delivering on the promise of Vision 2030 by providing a solutions-based approach to elevate program delivery and bring visible change. The Project Accountant will play a critical role in achieving this by managing the finances of various construction projects and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled accountant to not only work on some of the most complex programs in the world but to also contribute to the transformation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
- Manage the financial aspects of multiple construction projects, including but not limited to project costing, budget tracking, and cash flow management.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and financial projections.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare regular reconciliations of accounts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers to provide financial guidance and support.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of experience in project accounting in the engineering or construction industry.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues.
- Experience with accounting software, specifically SAP or Oracle.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
