About The RoleHi all! We are hiring a Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in KSA! You will enhance the competencies of our colleagues by working with the Talent Management Head and Org Development Lead to design and conduct training programs that will boost colleagues' workplace performance in alliance with Foodic's core values. You will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials, and managing all phases of training interventions, to drive the company's performance as a whole!

Responsibilities
- Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives, and provide instructional design support and builds engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
- Translate requirements into training that will groom colleagues for the next step of their career path.
- Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for our colleagues
- Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
- Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
- Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
- Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
- Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
- Deliver training courses - when needed and once trained on
- Assess training effectiveness to ensure the incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees' work behavior
- Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
- Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in learning development
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a learning and development role favorably in a tech company
- Strong presentation skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives with the familiarity with the Kirkpatrick Evaluation model to assess and measure the learning effectiveness amp; ROI
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - English and Arabic is a must
- Adequate knowledge of learning management software- LMS and other online methods and vendors such as Linkedin Learning
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
- BS degree in Education, Training, HR or a related field
- Certified trainer is a plus
