We’re looking for a People Tamheer Intern to join our People team
A bit about us
AlGooru is a Saudi-based edtech startup that uses AI to connect students with on-demand private tutors over 200+ subjects.
Main responsibilities
- Assisting in checking overall compliance with labor codes and applicable local and state laws
- Updating internal databases with new talent’s information, including contact details (GOSI) and employment forms
A day in your life
- Organize and update employee files
- Handle the majority of the documentation such as contract formation, complete employee documentation and visa-related issues
- Perform various administrative tasks and support the People department with daily activities
- Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing information
- Assist in checking overall compliance with labor codes and applicable local laws
- Respond to talents inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters
- Participate in organizing company events and meetings
- Take minutes during meeting
Requirements
Experience needed
- Must be a Saudi national
- Must not have previously participated in the Tamheer program
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate high degree of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism
- Experience with MS Office (PPT amp; Excel)
- Basic knowledge of labor law
- Must be eligible to Tamheer Program Registration
Tamheer program is an on-the-job training program for Saudi graduates. Tamheer aims at training Saudi graduate holders at international organizations and outstanding companies in order for them to gain experience and skills to prepare them for full-time employment. Program duration is 6 months long period of training. We are looking for graduates that have not been employed during the last six months.
