Principal Contractor Planning Manager (Site Space)

We are looking to hire a Planning Manager who will be responsible for the development and implementation of a site space plan. The Principal Contractor Planning Manager serves as a key liaison between contractors and departments to understand space that is available, will become available, or will become unavailable, and assists in the associated planning processes for space changes. The successful candidate is a recognized subject matter expert who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field and may manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources

Responsibilities:

• Manage and facilitate the process of site space requests and space assignments and make recommendations and decisions regarding space assignments within delegated authority and which are in accordance with the overall master plan and site space plan.
• Responsible for the management of site space information by using software and manual processes to create meaningful and often complex reports from raw data regarding the use of space on site, and compare and contrast such use with industry best practices.
• Collects and reviews requests for space; prepares and oversees preliminary space analyses and makes recommendations to fulfill these requests.
• Conducts audits of site space and makes recommendations regarding the reutilization and reassignment of space.
• Develops metrics and guidelines for the assignments of site space
• Recommends modifications to space policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree and 15 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience in supply chain amp; logistics, facilities and site space planning.
• Ability to compile analyze and create computer models of data
• Demonstrate detailed analytical and critical thinking
• Use advanced analytical skills both quantitative and qualitative as related to space analysis and organization
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Negotiate, resolve conflicts and build consensus
• Demonstrate good judgment and maintain confidentiality
• Maintain a focus on Customer service
