Requirements
- Performing statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity(Data Profiling).
- Evaluating system performance and design, as well as its effect on dataquality.Collaborating with database developers to improve data collection and storageprocesses.
- Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well ascleaning data.
- Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources toidentify and interprettrends.
- Reporting data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions andprioritize information system needs.
- Documenting processes and maintaining data records.
- Adhering to best practices in data analysis and collection.
- Keeping abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis.
- Implement business and IT data requirements through new data strategies anddesigns across all data platforms (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) and data tools(reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning).
- Work with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies,build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models
- Define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, bestpractices, andrelated development for enterprise data models.
- Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, toolssupporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and datavisualization.
- Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulateissues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.
- Analyze and organize raw dataEvaluate business needs and objectivesInterpret trends and patterns
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on resultsExplore ways to enhance data quality and reliabilityIdentify opportunities for data acquisition
- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects
- using Extract Transform Load operations (the ETL / ELT process)
- Researching new methods of obtaining valuable data and improving its quality
- Creating structured data solutions using various programming languages and tools
- Mining data from multiple areas to construct efficient business models
- Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and other teams.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent (KSUis a plus)
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field; a Master’s is a plus.
- DataQualitycertification is a plus.
- Experience with SQL, and ODI.
- Experience with Alteryx is a plus.
- Experience in data analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages, including Structured Query Language (SQL)and JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and tests.
- Extensive experience with statistical packages, such as MS Excel.
- Exceptional analytical skills.

- Knowledge of best practices in data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- 1+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols).
- Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms inmulti-data-center contexts required.
- Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwinor ER Studio or others) is required.
