Editor

As an Editor, you will be part of our Global Production and Operations team that plans and organizes the production of our live or taped, studio or event broadcasts. The Editor will provide content creation, editorial, and design support for Media Services, Sales, Marketing, Production, and other departments. You will partner with key stakeholders to ensure submission requests, revisions, proofing, and corrections are made in alignment with our production timelines.

The Editor reports to our Head of Editorial and is a part of our Global Production and Operations team.

What you’ll do:

• Provide research support of specific event amp; esports topics to develop content
• Scripting of voice overs for recordings and other video pieces
• Responsible for all Media Day planning amp; player interviews
• Provide editorial control during video shootings and the preparation / execution of interviews at esports events / Media Days

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an editor / journalist
• Excellent writing skills and experience with online editorial work

• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English language, both spoken and written
• Able to manage multiple projects effectively, with the ability to prioritize based on scope and deadlines
• An understanding of the competitive esports industry and its events
• Ability to work under time pressure and remain calm in challenging situations
