About the role

Hello all! We are hiring for the role of Vice President of Product to lead the product strategy and development for the company's restaurant management software offerings. This includes conducting market research, gathering customer feedback, and identifying industry trends to inform product decisions. In this role, you work with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, design, and sales, to ensure that the product meets the target market's needs and is delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, as VP of Product, you will create and maintain a product roadmap and communicate the product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the product strategy and development for the company's restaurant management software offerings
• Conducting market research, gathering customer feedback, and identifying industry trends
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets the needs of the target market
• Creating and maintaining a product roadmap
• Communicating the product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders
• Creating and maintaining product performance metrics.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Staying current with industry regulations and compliance requirements, and ensuring the product adheres to these standards
• Collaborating with partners and external stakeholders in the restaurant management software ecosystem, such as Point of Sale providers, payment processors, and regulatory bodies
• Developing and implementing strategies to increase adoption and usage of the restaurant management software
• Providing thought leadership and driving innovation in the restaurant management software space
• Developing and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of solid experience in product management
• 2 to 4 years of experience in the restaurant management software industry - as minimum
• Strong understanding of the customer journey, user experience, and product design principles.
• Extensive knowledge of the restaurant management software industry and ecosystem, including trends, regulations, and key players
• Experience with restaurant management software-related technologies such as inventory management, reporting and analytics, and labor management
• Proven track record in successfully launching and scaling restaurant management software products
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders
• Strong understanding of the restaurant operations and the pain points that need to be addressed.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
