Brief
As a Business Development Manager at Tamatem Plus: You will be responsible for driving the growth of the company payment business in the MENA region. This includes identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building partnerships, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. The payment specialist will develop and implement strategies and plans to expand the company’s presence in the MENA payment market.
The Role
- Build and manage partnership with key stakeholders such as payment service providers, payment gateways and financial institutions
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of business plan and strategies
- Develop and implement strategies and plan to expand the company’s presence in the MENA payment market
- Negotiate and execute commercial partnerships and agreements
- Stay on top of local regulatory/ licenses requirements and how it impact our business
- Maintain personal networks, participate in professional organizations, attend conference and industry events
- Work with internal teams on operations, product and technology roadmap and integration of partnerships
- Improve operational capabilities for the different payment methods
- Collaborate with external teams, such as payment service providers and financial institutions, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Work closely with internal teams, such as technical and product team to ensure efficient payment processing
- Collaborate with custom service in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise in the payment process
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Requirements
- You Have:
- Bachelor degree in a related field, such as business or finance.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the payment industry in the MENA region.
Required Skills and Competencies :- Proven experience with payment gateways and/ or other financial systems in MENA
- Proven success partnering and working cross- functionally to make things happen
- Significant experience negotiating and executing contracts and agreements
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Familiarity with payment industry and trends in the MENA region
- Established relevant business network
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior project management skills
- Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative
