Essential Functions
· Manage pharmacy operations, supervising staff, performing administrative duties, and buying and selling pharmaceutical non-pharmaceutical merchandise.
· Assess the identity and strength of medications.
· Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability.
· Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage.
· Order and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, and drugs under supervision, maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly.
· Maintain records, such as pharmacy e files, profiles, inventories, and registries of hazardous drugs, narcotics, and controlled drugs, if any.
· Plan, implement, and maintain procedures for packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements, to ensure quality, security and proper disposal.
· All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
· Indirect supervisor of pharmacy technicians when on duty.

Educational/Training Requirements
· Graduation from an accredited University with a B.S. in Pharmacy or a Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.)
· Basic life support (BLS)
Licensing Requirements
· Current Pharmacist accredited and registered by Saudi Council for Health Specialist
Other Requirements
· Fluent in Arabic and English
· Basic computer skills
