Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse business performance versus business goals (awareness, share, consumer , profitability, etc.) and the competition.
- Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates for the ready to eat category.
- Bring new business amp; ready to eat category to the company’s catalogue.
- Source best suppliers for the ready to eat category.
- Manage the supply chain of this category before handing it over to Operations team.
- Design amp; develop the ready to eat category from scratch (including: Specialized Coffee and its different assortments (Iced/Hot/With flavours), Sandwiches, Salads, Baked Items, Ready Cut fruits, etc.)
- Increase the revenue for the ready to eat category.
- Analyse and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Monitor stock levels in a proactive manner to avoid stock issues / out-of-stock and control stock replenishments for the ready to eat category.
- Develop metrics to evaluate quality and oversee the evaluation of quality.
- Examine and test existing contracts.
- Issue stock allocation per SKU.
- Monitor items movement and follow up its sales on low / no sales.
- Prepare daily and weekly orders.
- Approve issuing claims to suppliers as per the nature of the case.
Job Specifications amp; Requirements:
- BSc/BA in business administration,Supply Chain, marketing or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 Yrs Experience in this field.
- Proven experience as category manager or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles.
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
