We are looking for a Growth Product Manager to solve business problems with a user-centric approach and improve user experience by helping potential users realize the product's value faster, growing the user base, and charting a path to sustainable profitability and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Experimenting with customer segmentation to make sure that the most suitable segment is targeted with in-app experiences to reach the exact right audience.
- Apply the AARRR framework to analyze growth components.
- Optimizing the journey through the customer funnel using user experience research tools like A/B testing to ensure an effective approach to create a smooth customer journey.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the customer acquisition strategies to increase user engagement with the product.
- Making the user onboarding process seamless to help customers engage with the product easily and quickly.
- Run an activation and retention analysis.
This will consist of:
- Optimizing the signup flow to reduce friction
- Determine an Aha Moment and which segment of users reach activation
- Run a cohort analysis* of the # of active users over time to determine your retention curve
- Calculate churn rate and chart the # of users across your product’s lifecycle
From the analysis, you will suggest experiments to increase activation and retention.
- Working closely with other teams to optimize the customer retention strategies to obtain more loyal customers and drive more sales.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
Requirements
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data
- Ability to make a presentation deck proposing a user acquisition and growth plan
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of databases, Excel, and google sheet
- Search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumen
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
- Ready to learn more about growth
- Basic understanding of monetization strategy and its uses to improve customer’s experience and profitability
- Solid technical background
- Familiar with SQL and database management tools and framework
- Proven knowledge of Data Visualization
- MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, Web Trends)
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
