Job Description
Provide high quality anasthesia care to the patient clientale.
Provide anasthesia consultation services as requested .
Supervise and teach anasthetists of lower grade, both residents-in-training and staff physicians.
Participate in departmental and hospital teaching.
Participate and generate research activities.
Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
Maintain a list of priviledges and work within the confine of their work experience and skills.
Understand and adhere to all hospital related policies and procedures pertaining to medical practice.
Participate in the quality improvement reviews conducted by the Department of Anasthesia.
Perform other related duties as appropriate and as assigned.
Acquire appropriate computer skills, to utilize the hospital's computerization program.
Undertake continuing medical education activities.
Job Specification
Graduate from recognised medical School of good standing and completion of the required period of training in anasthesia and/or subspeciality of anasthesia, with Saudi/Arab or American/European Board Membership/ Followship or equivalent.
Have 2 years post certification experience in anasthesia preferably with 1 + year North American/European/Australian experience.
Fluent in English Communication, Arabic Language is added advantage.
Computer Skills are intermediate level.
