Research Assistant intern

We are looking for a Research Assistant intern to join our team. You will be responsible for helping define and drive the future of our products. You will help reveal what our users need from our products by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies. Also, you will collect edits, process, and coordinate research data in support of a specified research study or group of studies. Arrange and conduct field interviews as appropriate to the study, and record research data in accordance with specified protocol and procedures.

• Carry out experiments and research according to protocols laid out by primary researchers
• Travels to field sites to collect and record data and/or samples as appropriate to the specific objectives of the study.
• Develops or assists in the development of interview schedules; contacts potential subjects to introduce and explain study objectives and protocol, and to arrange interviews, either in person or by telephone.
• Identifies and compiles lists of potential research subjects in accordance with study objectives and parameters, as appropriate to the individual position.
• Conducts and records face-to-face and/or telephone interviews with subjects, in accordance with predetermined interview protocol, data collection procedures, and documentation standards.
• Reviews and edits data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information; follows up with subjects to resolve problems or clarify data collected.
• Document and summarise interviews, project results, and prepare progress reports
• May lead or guide the work of student employees.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s in a computer science, IT, Business or human behavior related field such as marketing and psychology (or equivalent and demonstrable work experience)
• Sales or customer service background is preferred
• Ability to quickly and effectively share research results
• A strong desire for creative problem-solving with a positive attitude
• Excellent time-management skills
• Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to identify root recommendations inspired by the consumers’ needs and behaviors.
• Ability to travel, be outdoors for long periods of time and deal with uncomfortable environments

• This position involves traveling to different locations in Saudi Arabia as required.
