Senior ITOM Engineer

Install, configure, and integrate software products from Service Now with a focus on the ITOM based products (discovery,

service mapping, configuration management, event management) Develop custom software solutions as required through

scripting and software development.

• Configure internal systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Supervise the Operations team
• Upgrade the network infrastructure
• Install servers, devices and firewalls
• Train new system users and set up their accounts
• Monitor the performance of servers, software and hardware
• Ensure the smooth deployment of new applications
• Update technical documentation

Requirements

Provide technology consulting to customers and project teams. Responsible for implementing part or all of the technical

solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design.

Provide advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments.

Resolve technical and some business incidents independently. Provide suggestions for operational efficiencies.

• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of system security techniques
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks
• Work experience as a Senior System Administrator
• Good knowledge of at least one scripting language
• Team management abilities
• BSc in Computer Science or similar field
