General Summary
Manage the design and development of ride systems for all theme park attractions in coordination with the concerned teams by overseeing vendor relations, design amp; production schedules and overall team coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support in the development of the Technical Services strategy to achieve QDC’s strategic objectives.
- Participate in the development and enforce the implementation of Technical Services policies, processes, procedures and controls.
- Assist in the development of Technical Services budget in alignment with the organization budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives.
- Oversee and lead the production of scopes of work for the specific ride systems and ancillary equipment, and manage their progress from inception through installation, test amp; adjust and operational commissioning phases.
- Evaluate, select and monitor qualified vendors to produce show and ride systems and associated equipment.
- Oversee the design and engineering process, ensuring compliance to ride performance specifications, EN 13814, ASTM, TUV and Local Codes.
- Ensure the development of production plans and oversight the vendor production and fabrication phases for various disciplines.
- Oversee quantitative and qualitative requirements and specifications based on interpreting creative intent for ride systems.
- Ensure the project’s status is reported to the team and PMO Department in a timely manner.
- Manage the achievement of the team’s objectives through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performance.
- Provide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate and challenge teams providing opportunities for growth and development within the team.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Mechanical or Electrical or related field.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field is preferred.
