PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To plan, develop, implement, and analyze community relations campaigns, marketing efforts, and related events.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain relationships with members of the community.
- Plan, get the best deals, develop, implement, organize events in all aspects, and volunteer to advance the mission and goals of Salla, which will promote its products, services, and ideas.
- Attend and participate in all events around Saudi Arabia.
- Organize and implement community outreach programs.
- Use social media to coordinate community relations.
- Draft and distribute/publish various content pieces that promote Salla’s mission, as well as individuals or groups within it.
- Respond to inquiries from community members and other interested parties; when needed.
- Recruit a knowledgeable spokesperson or information source to assist.
- Search and compare all events and activities that Salla should participate in.
- Communicate with other departments for attendance.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business or any related field.
- Experience in a Community based role.
- Accreditation through Public Relations Society is a plus.
