Job Description
Responsible for all offerings on the platform. This includes creation and design of offerings that matches the company’s objective. Targeting the right user segments for these offerings through multiple channels such as tele-sales and product. And gathering insights and feedback on the market. The Head of Marketplace is a gate keeper of what is being offered and who is it offered to.
Responsibilities:
Marketplace Strategy, management, forecasts and results. These include short and long term objectives, customer metrics and overall performance. Develop reports and reporting formats.
* Oversee the day-to-day marketplace operations, updates, course listing, and performance.
* Design and creation of offerings.
* Balance of free/paid offerings.
* Scheduling and availability.
* Managing tele-sales team.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience with 3 years in a managerial role, preferably cross-country/ regionally
- Growth mindset, we are a lean team and responsibilities may fall out of one’s exact job description; we are looking for folks who are willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
- Leadership, the specifically emergent leadership, and the ability to work with a blank canvas, rally stakeholders, lead the complete lifecycle of a project and take on responsibility
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Bias for action
- Ability to work in teams and perform in an ambiguous and ever-changing environment
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working in operational functions in high growth marketplace startups or in a top tier consulting firm and/or (preferably) EdTech companies
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
- MBA or STEM Masters is highly preferred
- Passion for education
- Expertise in analysis and visualization
- Expertise in financial and decision modelling
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau, Python/R
