Job Description

The position will cover all relevant cash amp; liquidity aspects for AIMS. Responsibilities include leading the process from design to implementation in close cooperation with the relevant functions at BU and Group level, dividend and cash planning and execution, responsibility and risk calculations, The position will also support Corporate Solutions Cash amp; Liquidity Management to develop and execute efficient capital management strategies and funding solutions for the legal entities.

The position will enable the holder to develop a comprehensive view of the capital challenges faced by the (Real Estate - Investment - Industrial and hospitality) industry. The day-to-day job offers exposure to senior leaders within Corporate Solutions.


Main Tasks/Activities:


  • Will be investigating and monitoring key cash movements,
  • Calculate and communicate short term projections of positions with the knowledge that key decisions are made by funding desks based upon these projections.
  • Fund all currency accounts to minimize credit risk and interest expense whilst adhering to market wide funding deadlines.
  • Will be required to monitor cash positions intraday and mobilize liquidity as needed to proactively manage intraday positions and report drivers for usage.
  • Manage the firm’s intraday liquidity, minimize costs, protect the firm’s reputation and ensure the firm adheres to regulation
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures to achieve best practices in cash and liquidity management. Ability to analyze, recommend and implement productivity improvements.
  • Understand and mitigate risks associated with Cash amp; Liquidity Management process.

Requirements

  • Educational/Professional
    • University degree with a primary or (ideally) masters’ degree in finance/banking/economics with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
    • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles
    • Strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data
    • Strong command of English.
    • Good understanding of Corporate Finance, in particular Treasury related topics
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, in particular ability to summarize complex issues
    • Capable of building trust with all areas of the business in particular Treasury and Risk Management.
    • Ability to translate business initiatives into clear, actionable strategies
    • Demonstrate personal accountability for area of responsibility
