About The Role: Account Manager is the person in charge of managing a company's relationships with its customers. They are in charge of building long-term relationships with a group of customers and generally stay with customers for the length of their relationship with the company.
The goal is to build long-term relationships with customers in order to retain them, grow Trella’s share of wallet and work towards reaching exclusivity with shippers. You may be in charge of finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination.

What You'll Do:
  • Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients
  • Help to drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory
  • Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers
  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
  • Communicates client needs and demands to Trella
  • Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
  • Forecasts and tracks client account metrics
  • Suggest and execute against a territory plan
  • Accelerate customer adoption
  • Collection processing of shippers for PODs
Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree required is a Bachelor in Business and / or Supply Chain or any relevant
  • At least 2-5 years experience in a sales environment with experience in managing and developing customers (B2B experience is a plus)
  • Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders including product and engineering teams in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment
  • Experience and know-how in selling land transportation will be the preferred choice
  • Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders including operations, marketing, and customer service teams
  • Excitement toward working and staying organized in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment.
  • Portfolio of achievements growing a business or product and consistently exceeding revenue targets and company goals.

Trella aims to structure and regulate the freight industry with a goal of improving efficiency and reducing waste throughout the entire supply chain. This can only be achieved through building technology to create an interconnected network of carriers and shippers. Through this technology, Trella will improve shipping routes, increase truck utilization and efficiently batch shipments. This will effectively reduce costs throughout the entire supply chain, improving carrier and shipper economics and ensure both ends of the marketplace profitably grow their businesses - creating unprecedented economic opportunities in the logistics space - while reducing environmental waste.
