We are looking for a highly talented Senior Manager, IT Operations to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor as well as a strong team player comfortable working as a leader, supporting a team, and working closely with the management teams to drive strategic initiatives forward across the region.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a team of high-performing Corporate Technology professionals, providing efficient and effective IT services to internal users.
  • Develop and implement strategy for building and scaling the regional technology function, together with accompanying server infrastructure, networks, front-end portals, and workflows.
  • Build the regional IT Support/Service Desk function and manage performance of frontline support to internal users, including setting and achieving appropriate service levels.
  • Be the champion of an amazing employee IT Support experience, leading by example to your team.
  • Work closely with the local and global security departments for implementation of security policies
  • Oversee the department budget and manage IT assets, including provisioning of equipment to a growing staff population.
  • Rethink and implement an amazing onboarding experience for all users across the region
  • Develop escalation processes and serve as the main point of escalation for any incidents/problems.
  • Constantly identify opportunities for improving service, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in the Internal IT function

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computing or equivalent qualification.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Technology functions, including at least 5 years leading teams and managing large budget/IT assets.
  • Experience in building regional technology functions, preferably from ground up and across multiple sites.
  • Experience setting up IT Service Desk function, with capabilities in handling high ticket volumes.
  • VMWare Workspace One experience highly desirable
  • 3CX and SIP experience preferable
  • Enterprise level firewall and LAN experience highly desirable (including 802.1x and other security standards)
  • Background in fast-paced startup/technology environments preferred.
  • Strong customer focus, hands-on attitude, and ability to operate under pressure.
  • Energetic and highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in business english both verbal and written
  • International experience in the technology industry at a manager level
