Logistics Manager (Saudi National) | AlFuttaim – Retail | Riyadh KSA
About the role:
The job holder is responsible for managing the logistics operation for the brand in KSA. The JH will establish and continuously improve the most suitable logistics operation for the brand, in order to help achieve their key objectives on sales, margins and stock levels. The JH will drive communication and collaboration with various supply chain and business partners and be the lead subject matter expert and will maintain strong working relationships with all external and internal partners to ensure that all service level agreements (SLA) and Key performance indicators (KPI) are delivers in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and continuously improve the brand logistics operations
Build, develop and manage the logistics team and operations to deliver the business growth.
Manager inbound logistics; budget
Manage all third parties providing inbound logistics services
Manage cost and lead time from origin to arrival at DC
Manage and report on inbound customs clearance processing
Inbound scheduling and inbound delays and restrictions
Management of, and interaction with, multiple government authorities
Manage the function of product regulatory compliance
Maintain up to date product registrations for all products- SFDA/ SABER
Outbound logistics:
Management of KSA Distribution center/s, Satellite x-dock and ancillary distribution capabilities.
Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports including cost, efficiency, accuracy and service
Maintain and ongoing initiate tracker to drive continuous improvement.
Change/ Project Management
Inbound and Outbound logistics management of providing & Cost reduction
Maintain the contract tracker and drive to ensuring green status
Build business cases
Adopt & develop best practice scalable innovations and solutions
Document tenders and manage tender process
Implementation of imitative and improvement objectives
Others
3PL/ Contractor management. Maintain the contract tracker and drive to ensuring green status
E-Commerce operations; Support the cost and services, click and collect and future changes in service provision.
Corporate and Brand
Promote brand and Corporate values throughout the team and ways of working
Compliance to Principal standard operations procedures and relevant policies
About the person
Degree level qualification in related field or equivalent logistics management experience
5+ years’ experience in logistics
Merchandise planning experience across different retail formats would be an advantage
Highly proficient in MS Office applications
Highly Analytical person with great precision and attention to dtail
Problem solving skills
