About the Role
The Jr HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to line management on change management, integration management, HR budget and plan, staffing, talent management processes and execution to ensure a keen understanding of the business so as to implement HR strategies and practices that support robust business growth, reinforce a culture of performance focus, meritocracy and diversity; and comply with Group HR policy.
Key Specific Accountabilities:
Manpower Budget & Reporting
Lead the discussion on manpower requirements from management, validating variable budget assumptions, correct data entry to planning tool for each cost centre. Creates Headcount tracking sheets by band by cost centre together with the budget approval
Compile data for HR reporting, analysis data and variance and prepares the report
Compile PDR rating and forms, checks conformity. Contact managers for guidance on the quality of the content for the levels F and below
Talent Acquisition
Responsible for manpower planning and recruitment activities
Liaise with the TA team to manage Success Factors, opening and managing requisitions and completing positions addressing the business needs
Training & Development
Conduct training needs analysis each year to prepare the L&D proposal and calendar.
Ensure new employees are properly inducted into the business and given support to become productive as quickly as possible with L&D Team
Ensure training needs of key and high potential staff are identified and delivered. Ensure all key positions have identified successors.
Track progress of HIPO employees and review their progress with line managers to go to assessment for next level
Prepare quarterly L&D presentations for Line Managers in order to show the ROI and impact of learning calendar
Employee Relations
Review and advise on disciplinary cases ensure correct documentation and compares evidence.
Provide guidance and recommendation to line management and prepares warning letters and ensures filing.
HR Policy
Ensure compliance to HR policy is maintained, to review and strengthen business internal controls and procedures
Ensure compliance of DOA and provide leadership on process and governance.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and other requirements.
Safeguard the Saudization focus is maintained and diversification goals are reinforced and achieved.
System and Organizational Maintenance
In order to ensure correct workflows and status of employment, conducts checks on the SAP to reflect management changes, employee transfers, status changes and works with line managers and SSU s to get the changes reflected on the system
Corporate and Brand
Ambassador for Al - Futtaim and B&Q brand and will act responsibly to represent both brands in line with define brand /corporate values
Develop relations with all SSUs, group functions and store teams to leverage best support and correct administration.
Compliance to Principal’s standard operating procedures and relevant policies on people.
About You
To be successfully considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree HR or relevant field
3+ years’ work experience in HR or Personnel Administration
Understands personnel administration from workflow, policy, legal and systems perspective, can manage any part of those processes when required.
Can prepare payroll and ensure legal reporting.
Can work with numbers and prepare reports.
Attention to detail being organized and meeting deadlines are key in this role.
Competent in using MSOffice Tools & SAP HCM
Must have the ability to create an environment where Al-Futtaim behaviours are exhibited at all levels
