The Role

Foodics App Marketplace connects different partners with Foodics with the goal to provide Foodics customers with the best supporting apps that help them grow their business. The Marketplace partners are key to Foodics’s strategy for expansion. Partners are building applications that integrate with Foodic's products to meet the needs of any business - large or small. You will own the Marketplace which helps Foodics customers discover the right application at the right time to better run their business. To accomplish this you will work with our Growth, Commercial, Partnerships, Marketing, technology and product teams to ensure the success of our marketplace ecosystem. This role will have a direct impact on the growth and success of Foodics platform ecosystem.


Main task and responsibilities:

  • Establish our marketplace ecosystem strategy.
  • Build, maintain and optimize the processes governing the marketplace partnerships including:
    • The acquisition of strategic and valuable partners
    • The acquisition of partners valuable to Foodics products users.
    • The commercial agreements development with the partners and alignment with internal stakeholders.
    • The identification of the technical scope of integration.
    • The implementation, successful testing and launching of the marketplace apps.
    • The maintenance and operation of the launched apps.
  • Understand all Foodics products, their features and their APIs to be able to evaluate the technical scope of partnership needed and the technical limitations. Should also be able to suggest changes to the API structure as deemed necessary to develop strategic partnerships.
  • Propose and execute different pricing strategies or revenue sharing methods for our marketplace partners based on application of need.
  • Work with the engineering department to build the next generation of our App Marketplace
  • Use ML and other methods to ensure our sellers are recommended the best apps
  • Make sure our developers and partners are successful by helping them acquire new customers
  • Work with our executive leadership team as well as leaders across verticals (Point of Sale, Capital, Now, etc), and organizations (Product, Marketing, Sales, Support, Growth, etc) to grow our marketplace ecosystem.
  • Develop innovative and industry partnerships that uniquely serve Foodic’s customers
  • Inspire your cross-functional peers in order to build a strong partnership in delivering excellent products and services
  • Influence key stakeholders throughout Foodics in order to align resources and prioritization
  • Monitor and optimize revenues from the marketplace

Requirements

  • BS/BA in relevant field.
  • 5+ years of product management / Integration engineering or other relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in developing partnerships and commercial agreements.
  • Thorough understanding of API integrations.
  • Empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution based on customer needs.
  • Navigated product scale challenges in a high growth environment.
  • Developed industry leading products that have gained a strong followership and product loyalty
