Ensure the provision of end-to-end streamlined IT services within the organization by effectively managing the IT Operations, Strategy and Planning, IT Application, Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure, IT Security and Business Intelligence functions.
Requirements
- Formulate and lead the implementation of IT department strategy to support the achievement of QIC’s strategic objectives.
- Lead the development and oversee the implementation of IT department policies, processes, procedures and controls.
- Develop IT department budget in alignment with the organization budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives in collaboration with the Finance division.
- Ensure collaboration between IT and concerned stakeholders to understand business requirements of QIC’s various divisions in order to determine technology needs.
- Oversee the coordination with all other departments in order to ensure the availability of an efficient and integrated IT system across QIC.
- Ensure the development and implementation of IT security approaches and plans as well as disaster readiness and recovery plans.
- Ensure the development, operation, and maintenance of reliable IT infrastructure to meet business needs and manage the integration of technology solutions with the existing infrastructure.
- Lead the collaboration with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that will support business objectives and monitor adherence to SLAs on a regular basis.
- Manage the effective and efficient implementation of IT projects across QIC’s divisions along with proper change management activities.
- Manage relationships with external service providers (i.e. vendors, contractors) in order to secure latest IT products and services.
- Manage the achievement of departmental objectives through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performance.
- Provide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate and challenge teams providing opportunities for growth and development within the IT department.
