General Summary
Manage wide variety of legal matters relating to the practice area of Real Estate and Development by driving and advocating for Qiddiya Investment Company’s interests with relevant government authorities and stakeholders in relation to regulations that affect QIC’s Real Estate and Finance interests.
Essential duties and responsibilities
1. Support in the development of the Real Estate and Finance strategy to achieve QIC’s strategic objectives. 2. Participate in the development and enforce the implementation of Real Estate and Finance policies, processes, procedures and controls. 3. Assist in the development of Real Estate and Finance budget in alignment with the organization budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives. 4. Handle all real estate legal contracts including HMA’s, SPAs, Lease Agreements and other related agreements that amount to tens of millions of SAR. 5. Provide ad-hoc legal advice as requested from the business team and dealing directly with senior and executive management in the area of real estate. 6. Handle all general legal matters that relate to real estate such as leasing, mortgages, landlord tenant matters. 7. Conduct continuous development and update of the Master Community Charter (MCC) which covers the entire development area and sets legal governance in the area of real estate for the entire development area. 8. Manage real estate related projects and transactions that involve Mamp;A and JVs 9. Advocate for QIC’s interests in terms of draft real estate regulations and special treatments of the Qiddiya Community. 10. Review and negotiation of contracts, NDAs, and MoUs with a potential impact of millions of riyals.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Law (LLM/Juris Doctorate), Corporate Law or related field is preferred.
Professional Certifications (if required)
• License to Practice in relevant jurisdiction is preferred. • License to practice in a common law jurisdiction is preferred.
Years of Experience
9-12 preferred total years of relevant experience.
