Lead the oversight of on-site project development and execution of the Stadium assets and related infrastructure including but not limited to design, procurement, logistics, contracting, stakeholder management, project controls, handover and closeout.
Requirements
- Support in the development and implementation of the Stadium execution strategy to achieve QDC’s strategic objectives.
- Participate in the development and enforce the implementation of the E-gaming Arena project management and delivery policies, processes, procedures and controls.
- Manage the Stadium assets budget in alignment with the portfolio’s budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives.
- Review designs and project execution plans including but not limited to budget allocation, contractor/vendor coordination, risk mitigation and contracts in order to apply adjustments according to identified particularities and ensure successful delivery of assets.
- Participate in value engineering initiatives throughout design stages aimed at incorporating value-increase and/or cost-reduction modifications and additions.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of design, procurement, logistics and construction operations to ensure successful delivery of all assets as per approved specifications and standards.
- Oversee the expenditures of each asset to ensure delivery as per agreed budgeting specifications.
- Oversee the scheduling of assets delivery in coordination with QDC PMO to ensure proper coordination with other assets as well as with other portfolios.
- Oversee quality assurance programs in coordination with QDC PMO to ensure proper delivery as per approved standards.
- Lead periodic progress meetings with design companies, contractors, consultants and other vendors to ensure coordination and to discuss major issues in order to take action accordingly.
- Manage the achievement of the team’s objectives through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performance.
- Provide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate and challenge teams providing opportunities for growth and development within the team.
