Quality Control Technician/Analyst

• Responsible for Quality Control and Clearance of Finished Goods between Production and Supply Chain
• Responsible for monitoring, and programing critical control points (CCP).
• Responsible for monitoring and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Responsible for performing sanitation verification on equipment and other areas as required.
• Responsible for the correct recording and filling of all relevant record logs and Documentation.
• Ensures the correct quality guidelines for products are met during processing.
• Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
• Ensures and educates employees on food safety and SQF standards.
• Responsible to issue disciplinary action when directed.
• Collect product samples for Product Development, lab retains and the laboratory when directed.
• Perform inspections on Products, Equipment and Machinery.
• Fully understand and work with all necessary quality control instrumentation.
• Alert relevant departments/parties to any anomalies or issues after inspection.
• To identify, record and highlight any quality issues or defects for Production team

Requirements

Skills:

• Knowledgeable in Excel equations, forms, Word
• Knowledge of basic statistical techniques
• Technical writing skills
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to communicate both in written and verbal formats to various skill levels of employees
• Must support food safety and food quality systems by auditing refinery areas and systems as well as by data collection and analysis
• Must be able to prioritize workload
