Today, Siemens Mobility in Saudi Arabia is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager to join our team in Riyadh.
What are my responsibilities ?
- Develop and deploy Warehousing Strategy
- Defines and ensures implementation of warehousing guidelines, procedures, and regulations
- Maintenance and successfully operate CMMS warehouse system as defined by the customer
- Drive Health, Safety, and Environmental performance
- Takes care effectively for risk management measures
- Ensures efficiency of warehouse staff and operations, by imparting necessary trainings, awareness session and Toolbox talks
- Lead warehouse organization assigned and related staff for 3 shifts warehousing, staff shifts rotation and their work performance track
- Efficiently and transparently manage warehousing activities as per CMMS methodology
- Recepit of incoming deliveries with documentation
- Proper storage with documentation
- Timely issuances, transfers, and return with documentation
- Inventory cross checks with documentation
- Ensure from staff Material identification (marking labelling)
- Proper stacking of materials at designated storage areas
- Adhere to material handling procedures
- To manage Scrap and Waste management as per procedure
- Periodic Stock counts and Stock reports/analysis, manages and contribute towards Stock Control.
- Takes on the spot operational decisions related with daily warehousing topics
- Coordinate and handle warehouse management topics internally and with external supplier / service providers
- Safeguarding of Siemens and Customer Stock and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Responsible for warehousing related KPIs.
Job Specification
What do I need to qualify for this job ?
- Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent qualification from a reputable university or college
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and databases
- Proven working experience for managing warehouse management environment and personnel’s across multi warehouse locations / sites.
- Ability to plan and organize shift work schedules
- Ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work and monitor three shifts
- Strong decision making, problem-solving and mentoring skills, motivational and teamworking skills
- Very Good level of English while Arabic language proficiency is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
