About the role:
The Make Up Artist is responsible for driving Brand Category Sales Growth by providing a positive shopping experience to customers through her expertise and pleasant personalized customer service. A make-up artist uses his/her artistry skills and product expertise to ensure that each customer goes away not only with a bag full of luxurious makeup but also the confidence to use Watsons techniques to express their own personal vision of beauty
Supports selling plans to deliver sales budget
Promotes products by providing customer consultation, explaining product use and benefits, offering samples, suggestive and cross selling, recommend and demonstrate appropriate products and services based on customers’ needs.
Supports plans on cost effective measures to minimize losses and damages to increase productivity and profitability. Monitors and updates report on product shelf life.
Monitors and delivers 100% Brand Product availability
Monitors replenishments of stocks and product housekeeping in the selling area.
Cleans and Maintains make up applicators and tools.
Ensures highlighting and cross-selling of GOBE products on planograms and Off Shelf Displays related to product use.
Does Appropriate hairstyling to complement make up.
Checks proper implementation of promo call outs, hero display, price change etc.
Attends to customers complaints with sincerity and understanding.
Handle customer queries and offer advise professionally aligned with the Brand of Service Standards.
Aligns with Store Manager on submission of sales tracker
Maintains adherence to planogram implementation.
Ensures all products display in the selling area are in good condition and near expiry and damages products are pulled out from the selling area.
Consolidates frequently asked products and recommends new SKUs to the Store Manager.
Consolidates customer profile in relation to customer queries, concerns and submits to Store Manager.
Recommends category building activities (e.g. animations, hair and skin analysis, make over etc.)
Recommends relocation and meter reallocation of product display relevant to store customer profile and category performance analysis.
Provides information to customers on regimen building
Accomplishes MFP and PDP on time.
Participates and implements agreed EES action plans
Strictly complies with set company policies and procedures especially on attendance, punctuality and code of conduct and set grooming standards.
About the person:
Demonstrable retail Makeup Artistry experience
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated and results driven
Knowledge of achieving targets by focusing on link selling
Good at building clientele and building client build loyalty and return business
Have a high level of product/service knowledge
