We are looking to bring onboard an enthusiastic leader who will partner in our strategic journey towards doubling Hempel

As a Commercial Channel Manager at Hempel, you will be accountable/ownership for implementing the Trade Strategy within the region and is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives.

Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to:

Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within assigned partner accounts through effective partnership with commercial trade team.

Proactively looking to improve shop profitability strategies (customer focus) through effective channel leadership and commercial trade organization.

Establishes productive, professional relationships with owners/decision-makers/ key personnel in Trade partner accounts and enable trade commercial team to have effective Account Development Plans.

Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, grow revenue, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.

Drive trade expansion plan in partnership with the commercial Trade organization via territory scanning to identify the network gaps and opportunities for opening shops, contribute to setting targets with the commercial team and follow up on the execution of the set targets.

Proactively assess, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an on-going basis and making sure capable to address key stakeholder and market needs.

Implementing through commercial trade organization the trading concepts for the different shops tiers to stand out from the competition and attract new prospects.

Monitor competitors’ promotional campaigns and price positioning in the respective trade markets to counter them in order to drive trade sales.

Manage loyalty program for trade customers – in coordination with communication: Managing the product/reward criteria and the redemption process on regular basis.

Manage the training activities for the trade customers and their customers to drive sales by improving the conversion rate.

Drives adoption of Retail/Trade company programs with partners/shops.

Ensure Retail partner compliance with partner agreements meeting standards.

Proactively recruit new qualifying partners/ open new shops.

You will report to the Business Director

The role will be based in Jeddah (KSA)

Our ideal candidate will come from a global, matrix organization with cross-cultural and cross-functional experiences and with proven leadership experience in sales management.

You should also have the following qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in Retail Channel Management in a business to business /Customer sales environment.

Experienced Projects Management skills and previous experience in handling multiple projects within timelines.

Leadership capabilities to lead sales/trade teams.

Understanding of sales skills.

Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate at all levels.

Organized, confident, and highly motivated self-starter.

Customer Focus – Building strong customer relationships and discovering value-adding solutions.
