Job Description

Based in Jubail and responsible for Emerson FCTL service operations in KSA & Bahrain and under the direction of the senior manager for service execution, the regional manager is responsible for promoting positive conduct through policies and practices of company and management and will provide quality, professional and profitable after-sales support with local coordination of all service center and field services.

Job Responsibilities

Service Operations

•Facilitating service center functions including machine shop, mechanical, assembly and calibration operations.

• Responsible for coordinating and facilitating field service activities in the western region.

• Responsible for financial control of the western region operations, including purchasing of all materials, parts and tools necessary for all locations within the geographical region as well as preparation of appropriation requests for capital investments

• Be a leader of any changes as business evolves and assist with implementation as necessary for process improvements.

• Constantly try to improve the company’s performance towards higher customer service standards and improve financial performance.

• Responsible for branch site indirect marketing function, including sales, through direct contacts with process plants in the marketing area and sales channels interface

• Continuous communications with sales channels to find ways to uncover business growth opportunities

• Responsible for the pricing of all goods and services and preparation of price quotes on larger jobs

• Seek out, develop and implement new business opportunities in cooperation with sales channels

• Conduct customer presentations, business report preparation and reviews

• Deliver KPI’s results in line with the BU objectives including:

• Profit and loss accountability

• Utilization measurement and optimization

Quality Assurance/Health & Safety

• Responsible for quality control of all work performed and determination of safety codes and engineering standards applicable to repair work performed.

• Responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment(s) and adhering to all Emerson / Fisher policies as well as OSHA

• Review and approval of Inspection and Test Plans & Documentation

• Interact with customer inspection personnel

• Implementation of non-conformance processes, corrective actions and preventive action processes

• Interface with product engineers, representatives, suppliers, 3rd party inspection agency and customers to resolve quality issues and field any questions that arise.

• Co-ordination of internal quality program, customer surveillance, third party inspection, and regulatory agency audits.

• Keep employees advised of changes in work practices.

Job Specification

Basic Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level in mechanical engineering, or equivalent industry recognized qualification.

10+ Experience in the Control valve service industry with proven track record of turnaround execution and management

• Proven leadership skills.

• Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems is strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills are a must.

• Personal Computer experience (business systems, Chess, Oracle, Outlook)

• Exemplary safety and attendance record

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience in the process control industry is a plus.

• MEA (specifically Saudi Arabia) experience.
