Mission & Main Objectives
As a Product Manager, the main objective is handle the milestones of launching the product and enhance performance in the market for Nissan’s product portfolio in a leading segment.
As a key guardian his/her mission is to cohesively work with Program Management, Marcomms, Sales to bring product based on customer needs.
Job involves high networking, influencing and logical thinking.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Responsible for creating product introduction proposals from Marketing side & support new model launches.
Handle Pricing /Revenue, Positioning, Specification/Feature selection, options, Identification of unique selling points for communication.
Understanding customer requirements, Identify gaps in line-up, ensuring that Product launches meet the overall company goal
To be instrumental in ensuring the healthy Life cycle plan / events like Minor change, Face lift, special versions for running Models
Liaison with Multiple stake holders like Planning, Sales, vehicle ordering, Marketing communications, certification agencies for successful Go to Market Strategy
Responsible for Assessing Market condition on sales and identify countermeasures that can be addresses through product & channel.
Support Head of Marketing head in Strategic Deep dive proposals for vehicle line-up

Background & Experience (years)
Degree in Engineering / Marketing /Product Management
Previous experience in Automotive products in product planning / product marketing / Vehicle Sales planning management
6-8 years of experience with MBA preferred
Regulatory requirement (SASO) understating is added advantage
