• Advanced Steam Trap Inspection and Testing:
  • Lead thorough inspections of steam traps across a wide range of industrial systems to identify inefficiencies, malfunctions, or leaks.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools (such as ultrasound or infrared technology) to test steam traps for accurate performance evaluation.
• System Optimization and Energy Management:
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the performance of steam traps to maximize energy efficiency and minimize steam loss.
  • Collaborate with energy management and engineering teams to assess overall system performance and recommend improvements to reduce energy consumption and operational costs.
• Technical Expertise and Troubleshooting:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on steam traps, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting for complex issues in steam systems.
  • Ensure proper selection, installation, and maintenance of steam traps to meet the operational needs of the facility.
• Preventive Maintenance and Repairs:
  • Develop and execute a preventive maintenance schedule for steam traps to ensure system reliability and longevity.
  • Coordinate or perform repairs and replacements of defective steam traps, ensuring minimal system downtime.
• Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Implement safety protocols when working with high-pressure steam systems and ensure proper documentation of safety procedures.

• In-depth knowledge of steam trap operation, maintenance, and diagnostic tools.
• Strong understanding of steam distribution systems, including boilers, piping, and condensate recovery.
• Ability to identify and implement energy-saving measures in steam systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
