Job Description

AlUla Club is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head of Football Scouting to join our team. As the Head of Football Scouting, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the club's scouting operations, identifying talented players, and supporting our recruitment efforts.

You will work closely with the coaching staff and management to develop and implement a comprehensive scouting strategy. Your knowledge of the football landscape and ability to identify potential talents will be crucial in shaping the future success of our club.

  • Build and lead the scouting process (with a team of scouts and resources) to cover the talent identification at youth, national, and international level.
  • Lead a team of scouts in leadership, line management, quality assurance, and mentoring.
  • Per target and/ or age group specific, develop and maintain a potential shadow team of potential players to be recruited for the upcoming transfer window.
  • Key contributor together with the Head of Academy, Head coach (men/ women), and Football Performance to propose potential new recruitments to the Football Director.
  • Develop and provide periodic reports on the scouting department to the Football Director and report when required on the direction of the Football Director's Supportive responsibility.
  • Monitor in detail club players in collaboration with the Head of Academy, Head Coaches (men/ women), and Football Performance.
  • Contribute (when required) opposition analysis for the club's professional and academy teams Shared responsibility • Lead by example the values of the club in the day-to-day operation.
  • Seeking collaboration with and supporting actively colleagues (Heads) within the football department.
  • On the direction of the Football Director or CEO, provide additional support within the football department or other Sports programs withintheclub.


  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of success in football scouting.
  • In-depth knowledge of football and a keen eye for talent identification.
  • Strong understanding of player evaluation and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with players, agents, and club representatives.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret player performance data and statistics and working on Video analytical software and player monitoring systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple scouting assignments.
  • Computer skills in various software such as Microsoft Office.
  • Leadership and team player - Leading by example in terms of values and professional attitude .
  • Reporting Skill.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively to attend matches and tournaments.
