QA/QC Engineer

• Throughout working knowledge of National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IES or equivalent standard, electrical installation including materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification for oil and gas or petrochemical industries. ·
• Analyzes applicable codes, standards and project contract documents and monitors construction activities to ensure compliance.
• Monitors and/or evaluates electrical tests and inspections such as ground-fault, ground resistance, insulation resistance, polarity, continuity, capacity, load and other electrical field tests as required. ·
  
• Field checks installation and location of electrical equipment, electrical duct, conduit, cable, panels and other components of the electrical system being installed. Assures compliance with approved submittals. · Monitors all electrical installations to assure circuitry, phasing, equipment and grounding adhere to construction documents and Company Electric Code requirements. ·
• Provides general inspection on all construction and subcontractor work to assure a safe and workmanlike operation. ·
• Verifies equipment settings, alignment, testing and energization requirements. ·
• Evaluates adequacy of Contractor Quality Control (CQC) programs. Monitors contractor’s compliance with approved Quality Control Plan. ·
• Makes recommendations for improvements to standard CQC provisions, and also defining quality assurance requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering ·
• Must have at least 5 years experience in related position.
• Out of which 3 years should be in inspection line with Oil & Gas, Petroleum/Petrochemical projects
